I'm going to be going for a very '50s vintage/glam look to play up the vintage-ness of my wedding gown. This look is nothing like my everyday and I simply couldn't accomplish it in my own DIY Trials, but I have great trust that a real MUA will be able to make it work.
Now moving onto the hair... originally I thought I'd just curl it and be done with it.... but I am severely curling iron impaired and ended up with weird Shirley Temple Curls every time... don't believe me?...
Personal Photo from the AZ Cardinals Superbowl!
Well we couldn't let that happen on W-Day, so here are my REAL Hair inspiration pics...
What do you think of my NEW and IMPROVED hair + makeup inspiration? Did anyone else plan on DIYing only to have luck fall into their lap? Do you think I'm crazy for changing my mind again... no wait again don't answer the last question!

I loved Mrs. Dumpling's hair! I think it's definitely do-able.
If I could even somewhat do my hair I'd be going the DIY route. Unfortunately, unless I'm just straightening it or throwing it back into a bun, I'm terrible.
Yes! I love the vintage look to go with OUR dress! :) I actually really love the hair on the second pic - I know it was a makeup inspiration pic but I love the volume it has on top!
teacherbride99 ;)
@Anni I've been practicing like crazy- doing my hair like Mrs. Dumpling every day to work (well not as big/bridal) but to hear that Mr. AZ's mom wants to pick up the tab is a HUGE relief
@Teacherbride99 I agree vintage+ Our Dress= AWESOMENESS! I can't wait to do a trial :o)
Love this look! So romantic!
i think this look will be perfect for you! very pretty :)
Ohmigosh it looks absolutely GORGEOUS! Just like a fairytale princess - I adore it!! :)
I don't think your crazy, but then again I change my mind every minute! I love the new inspiration pics...very vintage glam without being too over the top. I really love the romantic hair and vintage vibe..I can't wait to see how your trials turn out.
I think your inspiration is beautiful! And it's very clear what you want so I don't think your "beauticians" can go wrong!
I did my own make-up...and nothing lucky fell in my lap. A lot of brides here go to the local department store make-up counter for their wedding day and IMO most of them look like a bad 1980's Glamour shot. Ha!
awwww i LOVE the vintage glam! you should get a nice pair of dangly medium sized diamond earrings too (or it can be CZ, i saw some at macy's the other day)!
