Reception: Take 2 (The Food)

So, as I pointed out last time our second reception will be taking place in the very-laid back town of Tucson.

It looks like a big city, and sometimes even quacks like a big city, but it is so relaxed that in fact there is only ONE restaurant in all of Tucson, Arizona which enforces a dress code. This is not my normal hyperbole it is in fact the truth.

So what to do in regards to food for this laid back, come-as-you-are and stay-as-long-as-you'd-like reception? Well I have a confession to make, I have a crush on a man named Jimmy...

Turkey Tom on Jimmy John's famous french bread!! My mouth doesn't water is cries for Jimmy John's (TM). So we'll be having Jimmy John's cater, and we'll be making the deserts ourselves. Did you feature any famous fast food at your reception or second reception?

Many Destination Wedding Brides and Grooms end up hosting not one but two parties [read: receptions] to celebrate their marriage. We are no exception, and I know there are those who will think that having our wedding in Sedona does not make it a destination wedding, because it is still in the continental United States. But the fact remains that many people do have destination weddings or elopements in Sedona because of the stunning natural beauty...

Unfortunately all that peaceful natural scenery leads to a number of resorts with resort-appropriate-prices. Suffice to say all those who would want to join us won't be able to. So we'll be having a second reception at Mr. AZ's parents home in Tucson, which means a second wedding dress!!!

Ok, so it doesn't exactly mean I need another dress, but if we're having another wedding-related party I want to wear a bridal-style dress and my awesome shoes.... my gown would be a little much an at-home soiree, so I bought this little pretty which is actually sold as a bridesmaid dress in Light Pewter.
