With combination skin you try a lot of moisturizers in order to find one that makes your dry spots better and doesn't flare up your oily patches. The best I've found is...
The most amazing thing about this moisturizer is that it can stand up to both the Desert Southwest's heat and arid in the winter and summer. Our summer is often referred to, lovingly, as similar to sticking one's head into an oven. That saying my friends is true. So when you find a moisturizer that can stand the heat- you stay in the kitchen so to speak.
I absolutely love this saciliyac acid- but it's definitely harsh and I can't always use it in the summer because the drying properties of the spot treatment in combination with the 110+ degree weather is UBER drying and not so good for your skin.
So this is my summer-alternative, Burt's Blemish Stick. I plan on being very good friends with this guy come August (aka Wedding Month).
What are your beauty secrets?

Luckily I don't break out too often when I'm in the bay, but in Hawaii it was pretty bad. I may have to borrow some of your recommendations! I love burt's bees products, thanks for the tip! :D
Congrats again on being Miss Sewing! Oh and definitely steer clear of saciliyac acid in high heat- it ends up giving your dry patches GALORE!
