This is hard to admit, even though I'm 25 my hair looks like it's 40ish at the root. I have been going gray since I was 16... and I'm afraid to say that if I stopped dying my hair, my natural coloring would be more Cruella DeVille than anything else...
So why am I writing about this? Any other Gray-brides know that in anticipation of your wedding you need to NAIL your hair color... I actually have the exact formula saved in my phone. But anyone knows that over-treating your hair leads to fried hair... so I wait 8 weeks in between dye jobs to keep my hair in good condition.
Which leads to grays showing through... it's a vicious cycle. But every time I go to dye my hair they marvel at what good condition it is in. So I suffer my 2-3 weeks of visible gray for the 2 hours of being fawned over for my healthy hair.
What lengths have you gone to, to keep up your youthful appearance for the wedding?
