Needless to say I had two things to direct the idea for my invitations, my color scheme and Cathedral Rock. Don't remember them? Never fear, pictures are here!
Made by MOH
But a designer I ain't. So I sent a real picture of Cathedral Rock and the color scheme and I said I wanted something pretty that involved both of those elements. Liz at Blush Design Studio ended up reading my blog and getting a feel for my "vibe" and made me the best rough draft ever!! I share them with you below...
Swoon! This is when I squealed to Mr. AZ that ohmygodlookhowbeautiful-we'rereallygettingmarriedwehaveinvitations!!!!!! Yes it came out exactly like that in about a 10 second high pitched squeal. There were a few edits to work out, but while we secured our hotels this project lay in wait, much to the dismay of myself and Liz at Blush Design.
But once we had that squared away we jumped on it... look at the progression of our proofs... First up the progression of our invitation. At first we opted to go the traditional FULL NAME route... but quickly discovered it looked much more beautiful with just our regular old names, aka no middles.
Now on to tackle the Reception Card- which seems like overkill since our wedding and reception are in the same venue not more than 10 feet apart, but hey reminders are always good!
And of course the response card which will be printed in one-color, hey a girl's gotta save money somewhere! The only problem came in knowing how many people were exactly coming, just like Miss Scissor's predicament, I wanted this potential problem solved off the bat...
But the fun doesn't stop there... look at our awesome address... which will be printed in GOLD because Liz is amazing!
How did your invitations turn out? Were they a DIY affair, letterpress love, or digital offset?

They're lovely!! I love the AZ silhouette!
@Dandelion and Grey Thanks for the comment, that silhouette appears on EVERYTHING in our wedding from our OOT Bags, to our informational folders, and now our invitations. I think it's very lovely and it's even more stunning in person.
