What's more than all the niceties is that it is unbelievably practical! There's that word again- did you think I would forget it so soon? It is the only one of the three available patios at Tlaquepaque that is mostly in shade throughout the hot summers days- making it a good 2-5 degrees cooler. A MUST for an August wedding in Arizona! Also did I mention it was 20 feet away from the Chapel?
The only non-practical problem is this: my best friend and Matron of Honor and invitation goddess/graphic designer is in a wheelchair. While all the places will be more than accessible, they all have the c-word(WHAT?!) COBBLESTONE! Which is beautiful and I love it, but I know my best friend hates Cobblestone... wouldn't you if you had to wheel around all the time on an uneven surface? I called her before booking the site, as the blog says I am practical if nothing else, and she expressed her joy that I was not having a beach wedding. She is being a wonderful MOH and I'm just so happy she's not annoyed about the c-word.
