Personal Photo of Founders on Bid Day
If you can find me I give you mega points because I was like an FSU barbie back then (read: amazingly tan). I really wanted to incorporate my sorority (and my fiancé's fraternity) into our wedding. So I thought about a few things:
- Sorority Fraternity Colors: Cafe au Lait and Old Blue vs. Royal Purple... not our style
- Flowers: Yellow Tea Rose vs. Clematis... see above
- Symbol: Torch vs. Black Diamond with White Star... three-peat
I'm thinking, as many Greeks have done before, of pinning my badge onto my bouquet's ribbon wrap. I know that this is uber cheesy and may appear in a recruitment video down the line, with all the other wedding photos, but it's sentimentality means a lot to me. So much like this bouquet, instead of the beautiful pearl locket, it would be my Torch.
When I mentioned it to my fiancé he thought he should wear his as a tie tack and ask his groomsmen to do the same. What a great idea!

Why not extend it to my bridesmaids too? We're all from different sororities, but I think the idea is both personal and sentimental, so I'll open it up that if they want to wear their badge on their bouquet they can feel free. So, Greeks, are you showin' off your badge or hiding it in the skirt of your gown like some others?
