I swear it's a movie... one I've never seen... yes I looked it up to find a good title for this post... shucks you figured me out!
Ha! I told you! Anyway... the hunt for the garter begins with my huge Etsy Obsession... I know it's unhealthy but bridal blogging has warped me into perfectionism mode. At first I didn't even want a garter, much less care what it looked like if I was forced into having one....
Stalking some bridal blogs I became curious as to what one of these lovies would look like...
All Flowered out and decked in sequins/rhinestones
Or Lacy with flowers and little bows
Or a little risque with burgundy satin
But then... I found it... The Garter. As in The Garter that goes with The Dress and The Shoes...
But a hefty price tag of $69 + $12.50 s/h? Could I convince myself enough that this was The Garter to end all garters....You tell me! Does it feel like it was made in the same style as The Dress? Need a refresher?
Here's the gown, modeled by another not-me Bride. So what do you think? Is it worth the price tag of $81? Would I be remiss if I didn't buy it now?

Those are really pretty! I dunno about the cost though. Personally I wouldn't do it. But that's mostly because I'm a cheapskate, lol. I have a free one that I got from a bridal show, so I'm either going to jazz that one up, or make one from scratch. I think the hard part about recreating your garter would be finding a suitable accent brooch-thing. That could be tough.
I'm a cheapskate too... it is very hard having the Bridal Zombie Flu and wanting all this crazy stuff... I need to get me some Tamabride.
