When I decided I couldn't possibly choose one, he said "Could you cross out the ones you don't like then?"
Well that was easy! Princess- too trendy; Emerald- would make my chubby fingers too fat; Marquise- too 80s; Oval- just not right; Pear- is for eating; Heart- is in my chest cavity. So that left Round, Asscher, Radiant and Cushion. I wanted something timeless...
One that without looking at the band, wouldn't scream that I was married in 2010 or in 1980. So I went with the classic choice, the Round. We didn't go the classic route in buying my ring. But boy isn't it lovely? (Please forgive the clearly parking garage picture- my mother made me send her a text with the ring- immediately)

LOVE round cut. I am wearing one too ... which happens to be an heirloom from FI's grandmother. Timeless, no? : )
